Monday Monday...

There's a lot going on Mondays in the Watertown Free Public Library's Children's Room!
Every Monday from 10:00am - 12:00pm we have open craft! Come and make something new every week in the Children's Programming room.

After camp or work stop by for PJ Movie Nights! We are showing movies starting at 6:00pm. Tonight we are screening Mary Poppins, rated G, with a running time of 139 minutes in the Watertown Savings Bank room.

Don't forget, our summer calendar is available in print at the library, or online.

PJ Movie Night!

Tonight! PJ Movie Night! We will be showing Ratatouille, rated G, with a running time of 111 minutes in the Watertown Savings Bank Room at 6:00pm. Light snacks will be provided.



We will be screening movies every Monday at 6:00pm through August 16. Check out what movies we will show here.

Games Games Games!

Tomorrow, Friday July 9, come in and cool off with some fun games! We'll have board games, video games and snacks to munch on. For kids entering grades K-5 in the Watertown Savings Bank Room from 2:30pm - 4:30pm. No registration.

Summer Reading Begins!

Beat the heat! Move and shake to the tunes of James Lepler in the Watertown Savings Bank Room. This program is for children ages 5 and under and begins at 11:00am.

Attention Lowell School!

If you go to Lowell School, here are a few helpful links to get you through your summer reading requirements:

Description and requirements from Lowell School.

Lexile Frameworks "Find a Book." This will help you find titles in your lexile range and will check a specific book's lexile number.

Novelist--This is a library database that helps you find books based on your interests and includes searching for lexile-scored books, but be aware you need to do an "advanced search" to find books based on lexile numbers. You'll need your library card to sign in from home.

Before you come to the library to choose your books make sure you remember your lexile number!

School's Out!

Before we get started on the summer reading, you'll probably want a bit of a break. Here's your chance! Stop by Thursday, 6/24 at 2 pm for a matinee showing of Shrek on the big screen in the Watertown Savings Bank Room.

How is our garden growing?

Our garden is coming along swimmingly, but we'll surely need your help to keep it beautiful. Sign up starting Monday, 6/21, to help us weed, water, and harvest on Friday mornings through out the summer.
